       I’m getting closer to figuring out how I want to participate on Mastodon and Micro.blog both. Some version of separately and together. Working on that. It’s important to me for wherever I am to feel like a community, and cross-posting does not a community build.

       For starters, I added social.lol to my home screen on my devices so I can pop in more easily. The apps do not work for me because I want to filter out boosts. I like posts that recommend others. A boost feels impersonal. I can’t tell how much thought is behind it.

       @mikemccaffrey I have adjusted to no quote tweets after 5 years on Micro.blog. I just handcraft them if I feel the need. But I agree a quote tweet > retweet or whatever we call them out here in the fediverse.
