Oh wow…..I think I finally read a BAP post I agree with. He’s got a point here. Something you see down south is that a lot of these countries have a sort of nobility. People talk about castizas here, but they can be more than just white looking girls in latin countries. The best of them are born and bred nobility, or what remains of it. The kind of girls who were carefully instructed to put forward a good image because their father got them a slot at the yankee school to learn alongside the embassy kids. That american obsession with absolute unprofessionalism has killed all of that off for years now. Everyone’s walking around, slumming it in pajamas, laughing about their 5-days-unshowered smell as if it’s endearing to buck the trend of NOT smelling like unwashed ass. It’s a very novel experience to date the kind of “Latina” princess who looks more german than you, who manages to wear white pants in a country where only 10% of the roads are paved

@sneedjitsu I don’t like that he’s basically more cult-leader than political figure. His ideology is a black box that requires you to ingest a full tome of books and 2-hour podcasts before immersing yourself in a cult of personality. It’s opaque to outsiders, which wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for him constantly being shoved in my face as an adjacent guy in the sphere. I get bits and pieces of his ideology, which I can assemble into an unflattering construct that seems pretty childish on the surface. “Who wants whites to have kids? You should live for yourself! When the chips are down the white man will pull through no matter what!!!!” “I want quality white people, not quantity!” (dumb argument, because that’s rarely been a war-winner, and having more quantity will give us more chances of finding quality anyways) Though I probably judge him partly for his fanboys’ takes which are just as dumb-fuck retarded, like that sterling article about how guys will be able to make more trad families if they game female missionaries (among others, that was just the dumbest target) into having sex with them so they become more alluring to good women.

@sneedjitsu There are parts of his ideology I think I agree with, probably like 60%, maybe even 80%, but I think something stinks when you have a figurehead sticking around on twitter, evidently not limited in his reach at all, whose ideology is a conveniently amorphous blob of “lol just do what feels good, you don’t have to have a family, just tell yourself you’re a badass warrior while you work out at the gym and pursue unrelenting hedonism”How accurate that is remains unknown to me, because he doesn’t have anything out there codifying his stance in a short brief. If he cared about propagating a message, he should have “the ten points of BAP-ism”, not a bunch of howling fanboys telling me to “just read his book”, he’s not entitled to that amount of my time.

@WashedOutGundamPilot personally i think the value of BAP lies the aesthetic he's good at promoting and also his A+ posting ability. i don't think the guy likes making concrete arguments, and if he does he says them plainly. sometimes he just says dumb shit, but i don't think he's dumb enough to believe the dumb things he says nor does he act like he does, the purpose may just be getting detractors to think and flesh out their arguments and beliefs in their own minds. i know the 5D chess argument is overused but if there's anyone who would play it it would be him. furthermore if the doxx is real and he's actually a Romanian it wouldn't surprise me as this kind of behavior is pretty present in Romanian argument and debate culture. there's even a word for portraying your opponent's argument in stupid and blunt terms so that he argues against it and realizes he agrees with you eventually. whether someone becomes a devoted BAP follower is a good litmus test for determining NPC/midwithood, which i'm reasonably sure is the point

@sneedjitsu I just can’t quite tell if he’s a boon overall or not. It still really bothers me that so many dissidents are entirely vanished from twitter, but even on my work account I see at least 10 posts from him. his little remark about how they just want to fake RW women to nag us while we build ikea furniture was a little enlightening. I think he’s the kind of guy who never got to experience a high-performance, supportive, healthy white family, and he doesn’t think they exist. I don’t like guys like that poisoning young guys from that while telling them “don’t worry man, when civilization goes up we’ll win because we’re the MC’s, we’ll dig deep and be superwarriors that can defeat the enemies that outnumber us 450:1!“ I suspect that line of rationale is why they’ve allowed him to remain where he is. Ultimately it doesn’t matter WHY the right wing chuds aren’t pursing a life with children and a legacy, the guy abstaining from a family because of climate change isn’t that different from the one doing so because he’ll only accept a super tall, submissive warrior amazoness to breed with will end up with the same result in 100 years: Extinction.

@WashedOutGundamPilot if i had the ability to reach that kind of audience this is exactly what i'd do. no one wants another guru, another "right-wing thought leader" to be endlessly debated in hellthreads everywhere. i would encourage my followers to live a lifestyle that would hopefully eventually lead them to a good place without preaching to them, as they'd be much more likely to actually do what i want if i don't tell them what to do and instead point them in the right direction. he is way too smart not to realize this

@WashedOutGundamPilot BAP occupies a niche, whether he wants to, realizes it, or not. he siphons a portion of insufferable would-be cultists from the public square and partially removes them from the culture by having them spend their time meticulously analyzing his book for the gorillionth time instead of spewing idiotic opinions. he also functions as a link between worldly, pessimistic young men and the right-wing, keeping them from becoming joeroganites or similar
