       Twitter won't migrate to Mastodon.When I first joined the Mastodon I was not a techy person. I used Firefox and Duckduckgo with uBlock, but that's it. Was still on Windows.I tried two times to try and register here, first time giving up because I didn't know what an 'instance' was.People on Twitter are too stupid to register here, and aren't persistent enough to try and sign-in again if they fail.Don't worry, no way they'll get in our sweet, little bunker. And if they do, damn it.

       I spent days watching hoping (literally praying actually) they would go to Mastodon and leave the free world alone. My prayers were answered.

       The past me was interested in privacy, but I was really stupid in terms or tech.Now that I actually know about technology, I look back at the past me and see my other friends who have immersed themselves into big tech, I know that they are too stupid to try out Mastodon.I know it is descriminating, but I tend to think of the non-techy as 'laymen', and us the actual smart guys.The laymen don't care if something is privacy friendly, they just want something to work. Twitter works for them.

       And then there is the user experience, the app.It took me a week after registrating to actually find an app that works for Mastodon (I chose Tusky)I had to do a lot of digging to find it, and afterwards I had to set up Tusky so I could actually use it. That was a whole problem of itself for a non-techy person like the last me.When I say don't worry, I mean it. It's like Linux: very few people will ever use the desktop, simply because they always use whatever is easy: Windows and MacOS.
