The latest Hbomberguy's video is probably the wildest ride I've experienced about the videogame audio industry... (but to be honest is there a Hbomb video that isn't?)[ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0twDETh6QaI ]Where it focus on a single specific thing, the conclusion is really good and worth the watch if you love videogame, works in the industry or just appreciate a good laugh and investigation reports done right.

The whole thing about "saving of history" is really important, because these past 30-40 years, people have struggled for real to document and archive anything related to electronic/internet/computer history. Wikipedia or the Wayback's Machine for instance are important in this whole dynamic of preservation, amongst many others groups and individuals efforts to do the same.Big money being involved, capitalism wants to have their voice heard loud and clear in this writing of history, and "marketing done right" means erasing lesser or counter-voices of the pictures.

Why do you think people are complaining for instance of the whole norm-washing of the #cyberpunk genre these days? It's because capitalism wrote itself into it, bought the whole narrative and is now calling the shot about it.Things like Mastodon always existed but never got into the light until a big corpo-dude fell of his own shiny narrative and the other sharks ran for his blood. This is why you should always documents your own deeds, because either late capitalism or society would always pictures you out of it, and you deserve to be remembered for your contribution to humanity, not for the amount of money you bought said contribution from another person...
