This Monday morning #vinyl is a special one. A birthday treat from Mrs. KillYourFM. (Said birthday was last week, and let's not discuss my age!) This is Radiohead's Kid A + Amnesia collection which collects both studio albums, plus a 3rd record full of alternate takes and previously unreleased B-sides. This is my first listen of the vinyl versions, and so far it is sublime. (Jason trivia: My favorite #Radiohead album is The Bends, and it's on my vinyl wishlist)#Music #Rock

@Simcax No problem! You know, I was that guy who HATED Kid A when I heard it the first time. (I wanted Radiohead to remain the band *I* wanted them to be). But over time both Kid A and Amnesiac (and In Rainbows) got their hooks in me and never let go.

@killyourfm yeah it's a bit on the quiet side, and I can definetely follow that. It worked well for me when programming or when I needed a timeout

@AdamBishop Have you had a chance to check out Thom's other project, "Smile"? I haven't yet, but after finding out it also has Radiohead's Johnny Greenwood, that is my very next stop today.

@killyourfm I haven't checked out "Smile" yet - will do! Did you ever listen to the BitTorrent released album "Tomorrow's Modern Boxes" (2014)? Would highly recommend if not. That was a nice idea!

@AdamBishop No I never heard that one! But I love how he is always trying to turn the established music distribution models on their head. In Rainbows was somewhat revolutionary in that regard.

@killyourfm my teenage kids got into vinyl awhile back and we've been picking up albums here and there. It been a bunch of fun and getting me to find bands I missed out on back in the day.
