One thing I don't understand Mastodon doing is this when your search hashtags.Several things:* If I need to see the list, remove the sparklines and how many people talk about it, seeing "0" here makes people think nothing is posted in the tag* just show me posts with the tag directly

@pixel I strongly agree. The "0" often means "0 on this instance", not 0 in general, and is totally misleading too.

@pixel could be worse. When you search "#movies", the actual tag #movies is the 10th result.

@hugo it's also about the time the last time a post with a hashtag was seen/postedso...it just makes people think on smaller instances that tags are just not populated

@chronovore yeah, it on one hand has the best UI/UX of an open source system in a whileand simultaneously also just has a lot of weird decisions hampering UX quite a bit, especially for new users.

@pixel@desu.i wonder how much of masto UX is just because it's trying to replicate an existing feel and the problems come from new features. For example, CW seems to be just slapped ontop of messages and doesn't really have a proper place in the design.
