       @aras Patreon is the one most people are familiar with, but I get the feeling (although not investigated) that @opencollective gives you more money (ie lower/no fees) and helps the project be a lot more open about funding. Could you offer multiple options?

       @rbairwell @aras In some setups @opencollective is free. We just ask for optional tips (15% default). There are also payment processor fees but that is usually the same everywhere and not going to us.

       @rbairwell @aras In some other setups, there is a Fiscal Host involved and they can take from 0% to 10%. They are the the organizations taking care of tax, accounting, legal (and more) for the Collective so they can focus on what they do best.

       @aras Patreon is the most familiar and probably has the most users (& thus the most potential donors). On the other hand, by that logic, I guess we should all still be using Twitter?I'm going to donate whatever service you choose. If it's one I've never heard of before...well, I like learning new things.
