       @researchfairy @nev yeah this is also troubling to me. It drove a trans voice off their server, in exactly the way that weaponized civility harms members of other oppressed communities. They'll likely keep doing it because it's baked into their worldview.

       No matter how significant you might argue Twitter’s PR crisis is, its recent evils are quite minimal relative to the algorithm that was promoting these people there to begin with, and about which they had no problem before. It’s a pro-war platform, and these are unabashedly pro-war corporate “journalists” bringing the worst of it here with them.
