What a loser, men always tell on themselves. So to him we're all 'whores who only exchange sex for love and money'. God forbid we have standards. @earlgrey In the late 70s, early 80s I used to hang around with gay men, thinking we had a lot in common, aka homosexuality. We all know straight men are huge misogynists, but gay men are just as worse. I stopped my friendships, I just couldn't stomach their bloody attitudes anymore.

@Chronic-Yonic I've realized it's because to them we're not even sex objects, straight men see women as a goal and as theirs. So remove sex and what you're left with is the pure entitlement all men are socialized to have over women. Our bodies, our labour, time and effort. They're worse and yet not, just typical males, they're all the same. It's just more eye opening to see the misogyny splayed out, especially coming from men who don't want to have sex with you/rape you. They still hate you, it's so engrained. I'm glad you're no longer around them, so often I felt like I was on the brink of madness, I had so much rage. I felt like I was the wrong one in the world, but that wasn't true, it was men and the male world making me feel life that. Leaving them behind, consuming more women forward content and shedding the male supremacist ideology we're raised under did wonders. Therapy could never do, what divesting from men did for me. I literally became better just by being able to be in spaces with women without men, to read about women and share my ideas and thoughts with women.
