@shoo Things like (but not limited to):- smart home.- "features" in my car (like heated seats, fancy dashboards, bluetooth audio).- high-refresh rate phones with OLED and alike.

@finlaydag33k Do agree, some of them are annoying.*looks at the robotic vacuum cleaner* , but others can be very convenient . Home lighting works great

@shoo Aye... And also it's always kind of a thing of: "will they get updated"?Seen plenty of times that smart devices had gaping security holes but never got patched up :\

@finlaydag33k @shoo until security is more of a common feature among IoT devices, I won't even consider owning any. Why would I create needless vulnerabilities in my home network, when I could just flip a switch on my way into a room? I've also heard of firmware issues being a nightmare, oftentimes. I've had a total of 0 issues with installing and operating traditional light switches
