@siege Damnit, I was just setting up a Raspberry Pi to run Pleroma. I thought it was just a lightweight Mastodon instance.

@moliver it can be, but its lightweightness i think leads it to being very easy for kids to set up stuff on and so you get a lot of wild west shit going on, its a sea of anime avatars and people flinging slurs from them at masto users for entertainment

@moliver like functionally to most users it doesnt make much difference, but when bullshit is going down, more times out of most its coming from pleroma.
