       @sodapizzle more like Business grade Thinkpads with https://libreboot.org support, and are easily upgradable with only 2 screws and a back cover holding you away from the inside.https://minifree.org

       @pmarg @sodapizzle Sadly Mini Free no longer sells Libreboot systems. They use Osboot or Coreboot now.

       @pmarg ah yes. I’m still early in my discovery of “Linux” totally didn’t know about Libreboot. I don’t own a machine that can be totally free! ;-;

       @pmarg @sodapizzle Gotta say I'm not liking where Libreboot has gotten to. Used to be if you had Libreboot you knew it was FSF compliant and if you had Osboot you knew what you were sacrificing to get newer hardware. Line is blurred now.

       @PublicLewdness @pmarg @sodapizzle Yeah I agree, I feel like Libreboot was there for GNU Enjoyers and osboot was the compromise for newer hardware. I think they should have stayed separate projects.

       @calciume @pmarg @sodapizzle That being said even current Libreboot beats a closed source BIOS.
