@nyagu you know, Beth fucking herself is... I unno. I liked the idea of Space Beth. Kinda Honestly Suummer being more assertive was okay with me? Better than being generic teen girlike they do with these shows.

@koimoa @nyagu Rick and Morty stopped being good after s2 imo. There's some decent eps here and there but what they did to rick and some of the new arcs/plotlines are just bad. Like the evil rick shit was pretty lame imo.Space beth was weird too I really dont know what they wanna do with the show anymore

@Weeble @koimoa This is what happens when your network orders a staggering 70+ episodes and puts all stakes onto your show LOLReal sad seeing the state of Rick and Morty. When it was more episodic you could tell they preferred being creative & silly and not rely on convoluted storytelling. The Snuffles episode is probably the best example of that.

@nyagu @koimoa 70+ eps is not that bad plus like many adult swim shows it had long hiatuses in between so it wasn't like they were rushed. They did let all the hype get to their head tho.Gotta love how before s3 rick genuinely contemplated killing himself after unity dumped him but after s3 he's this narcissist "muh uber based science god smartest man in the universe" like all the other fanfics u see on reddit

@koimoa @Weeble Fingers crossed that Smiling Friends gets a decent run without cancelation. It's the only show I'm looking forward to on AS. I also need to rewatch Venture Bros before they get that movie finished.

@Weeble @nyagu ngl this whole acquisition makes no fucking sense. CN seems to barely put out shows as it is. It almost feels like western animation is the first thing that gets shot in the head but we can have millions of reality shows on cable TV.
