So, Fediverse 101:- I am posting this on a server called SDF.org.- The server is running a software called Mastodon.- There are a lot of other servers running Mastodon, and some not running Mastodon but software compatible with it.- These servers are connected together through the "Fediverse", so they are all exchanging those little posts every which way.- All users on all servers can see other users and their posts.- And you can connect to those servers using phone apps. 1/x

- Right now, because of all the people coming in from Twitter ALL those servers are running slow, because all of y'all are posting like rabid lemmings!- Since most of those servers are run for free by volunteers, and they don't have alle $$$$ billions of Big Daddy E, there are some smoking machines in dark rooms, so be nice and send some moola to your server admins.- And because we have been around for a long time before you all came along, you are all confused and posting even more! 2/x

@Tammy546872 Usually most posts have a clickable zone. Click on the post itself and it will display the thread of responses.This is true for the web interface and for some clients, but it may be different in your client, so I am afraid I can't help you more than that... ☹️
