Yesterday I mostly muted people for overuse of gamer words and repetitive neo-Nazi/fundamentalist content that offered nothing new to the discussion.The day before that I muted people for cartoon erotica.Today I have ended up muting people mostly for bad quality art, since if I need that Ikea does a better job.

@amerika well he sleeps all day and night so I don’t know much about him really. He jumps on the bed in the morning so he can eat, if that doesn’t work he wakes up the dogs so no one can sleep. When he finally eats he goes back to bed. He likes mice but he prefers chipmunks, probably more of a challenge and more meat.

They are perfectly allowed to do that, but it feels like someone trying to make this what twttr users hope it to be so they won’t feel like such hypocrites for leaving twttr because it didn’t have enough censorship. Just like I would nuke the downvote on Reddit, I would nuke the block and report functions on the Fediverse.People need to learn that responsibility is intertwined with freedom.
