       My humble hint for #educators settling into the #fediverse:*Build a diverse network.*Follow people unlike you.*Follow and unfollow with ease.** Innovation flows through networks and often the really novel ideas will flow in from the 'weak ties' that you build.**What will often kill innovation is immersing in groups who are 'like us'.*Be open to strangeness. The openess of the #fediverse will help you do this. And, the ideas you bump into will flow through you into your classrooms.Have #fun.  #innovation #creativity #diversity #education #edutoot #K12 #networks #digitalnetworks #openpedagogies
