       This instance, and most others, will feel a bit slow at the moment, because of the huge onboarding of new users all over the #fediverse.The nature of the system means that servers are exchanging a huge amount of information as follower lists are imported and statuses transferred, so even if an instance has seen relatively few new accounts, it can still be under high load via requests from other instances.

       I'll be keeping an eye on it, and if it doesn't even out over the next day or so, we will look at what can be upgraded or adjusted to handle the "new normal".
