       @izaya youre just supposed to link to your fedi account somewhere on your home page, i supposewhen we used mastodon we added an invisible link to our mastodon account to our home page :kyuuchan_think:

       @starshine I guess hiding it works too yeah, hardly a clean solutionat risk of projecting a little, having "LOOK AT ME HERE TOO" on the front page of one's site feels a little narcissistic, and yet that's the usecase it appears to be designed for

       @izaya you're probably intended to put it in a footer somewherefwiw, mastodon only checks for a link back when you add the website to your profile. after that, you can just remove the link again
