@leo Just some speculation on a potential trajectory: Twitter will die by attrition. Mr. Musk will hire enough engineers to keep the site running but major events, Twitter’s lifeblood, will knock it offline routinely. Influencers might stick around but the diaspora will cluster on niche networks. Twitter will putter on, Musk will sell to a private equity firm and declare victory.

@leo I know a lot of programmers. None call themselves coders and hardcore coders all day long. Also, Elon was asked emacs or Vim in an interview with Lex Friedman. He has no answer and was confused.
