       @Ceejst you need to know their Mastodon username to find someone.Mastodon does not have keyword search capabilities. You need to search using hashtags.

       @janhenrySome of the behaviour can vary a bit between apps. In some, you can search for @jane and it will give you a list of all the accounts it knows about that start with @jane. In some cases, searching for @mastodon.nzoss.nz will give you a list of all the amounts it knows about on that instance.@Ceejst
