       I really like Mastodon.But its installation procedure is the worst ever written.No one has ever done anything more painful.Why?Why are you doing this to humanity?What have we done to you to deserve such cruelty?

       @benjaminbellamy there was far more Google involved in my install than I expected for what appeared to be thorough documentation.

       @benjaminbellamy 💯 agree - and the pain continues indefinitely with upgrades and maintenance.  Layers upon layers of punches to the face.It made me vow to myself that I would only ever make software that federates with Mastodon, never actually run Mastodon proper.
