Okay, a bit of background. I’m a self proclaimed tech enthusiast, I can’t program as I only learn a bit of Visual Basic but that’s it. But I’m interested in tech to improve our daily life. I’m trying to incorporate as much FOSS as I could on my daily life, but trust me it’s not that much. Now from your own perspective, do you want FOSS to receive mass adoption to a more mainstream market? And why if I may ask? Please boost if you find this useful. Thank you everyone and have a great day

@aduncus @aduncus well FOSS already is widely adopted, all BigTech have some reliance on a FOSS product, be is GNU+Linux/BSD in general, libssl, numerous database services, filesystem's etc. it's just the public don't know about it.Android is probably a great example of known wide adoption, sure it isn't fully FOSS, but it's close enough for an example.the internet pretty much runs on FOSS too, so we're doing OK 😁

@paul haha couldn’t agree more on that. But maybe I was more towards the regular people actively pick FOSS in this case. In the big boys businesses yes we’re good. Have a great day
