I adore #PlexAmp. This new virtual DJ feature is loads of fun, and encourages new paths of #music discovery. And you've gotta love that flavor text for "No Guest DJ" 😂Just wish #Plex was here on Mastodon.

@bw Indeed! And it's responsible for gradually getting me away from Spotify and back to (better-sounding) DRM-free music. I do hope they add something similar to Spotify's "session" mode where you can basically DJ a live playlist alongside your friends.

@killyourfm Yeah I don't use any music streaming services. I decided a long time ago music was too important to me to give that part of my life/brain over to the algos.And now it's kind of come full circle, as the 'sonic analysis' in Plexamp has added all these new ways to explore my vast collection without it being tied to popularity, listening statistics, or engagement metrics.The other piece of music software I can't live without is beets!
