@dem32 It's not about getting tracks for me to listen to myself. It's about getting high fidelity tracks for my DJ mixes. This is a hobby that means something to me and has helped a lot to life me out of a funk that I was in. My last mix used 34 tracks in a 38 minute set, just to give an idea of how that works. Now I could buy a lot of them, but I'm not spending that kind of money on dubs unless I play a venue and the pay for the gig covers the cost of tracks. I don't see that happening anytime soon tho.

@iska I think they aren't expensive enough for anyone to bother with piracy. WhatPeoplePlay had tracks in AIFF (basically same as WAV) for less than a dollar per track. Beatport was going to make AIFF an option, but I'm not sure if this was done — I haven't used it for over a decade 😄If you make money by DJing in a club (otherwise high quality isn't a requitement) it just doesn't make sense to bother with torrents.@nerdtronics @truthaddict
