I was in a hotel room the night of the 2016 election and remember being unable to sleep, thinking, "It's all over now ... climate, democracy -- we're screwed."I kept myself together through a meeting I was covering for work the next day, but burst into tears as I walked back to my car and pretty much cried for the entire 4-hour drive back home. The entire world lost an opportunity to be better and so better. It's depressing AF.

@stux Totally with you. Now that he's made it official the RNC is going to stop paying his legal bills. With all of his ongoing legal troubles hopefully he either will be buried in legal fees or he will be indicted, one or the other. Or the GOP will get its act together and rally behind DeSantis.
