All the mainstream media news coverage is about “Mastodon” while Fediverse is a lot more. But I guess Pleroma and Misskey citizens don’t mind the spotlight on Mastodon instances only? :blobpeek:

@lashman Eugen is doing a fine job in setting some standards because not all Fediverse nodes are “nice”. I blocked one which was full of really nasty humans. It wasn’t a Mastodon instance, tho.

@lashman I'm fascinated that there were reputation concerns about single-user instances a few years ago when I started doing mine, too ("unmoderated", I suppose), but you know what -- I'm happy to control where my data lives. And to have a single fediverse address, email address, real-life name, and XMPP address. ;)@darth
