For the longest time I've been thinking about automating my Google Takeout process. I would love to have an automatic way of exporting my data and backing it up somewhere. I know that you can set up Takeout to export data every X days 6 months at a time, but that still requires me to download the multi GB packages manually. I've seen some scripts, but none that make me confident enough to set up and forget.I want an elegant solution, but does anyone know of any?#takeout #backup #offsite

@ressu Set it to export to Drive. Use drive CLI in Go to regularly download (and delete) your exports.I’m not doing this, but I probably should for some key things.

@ivanDoesn't the drive export use your drive quota? That's the reason why I haven't used it. Then again I haven't tried it either šŸ˜…

@ressu It does, but that depends on what you want to export.
