Just a clarity point on this instances moderation stance.We have very clear rules, and we will sanction those that break those rules on this instance, and we will take steps against users on other instances where they violate our rules. Where a large proportion of users on other instances violate those rules we will defederate. I will not police what people do on other platforms where it has nothing to do with this instance nor will I tolerate people trying to backseat admin this instance.

@wild1145 I was a bit confused when looking at the fediblock hashtag and seeing people say that you didn't take action on transphobia etc, because I know you and know you wouldn't tolerate it.Glad to see I was correct, and they're complaining about things done on other platforms.

@Cloudhunter @wild1145 During every big wave, the mastodon busybodies come out in force. It's happened many, many times before. Just ignore them. Most don't even stick around, or pick fights with their own admins for not being pure enough.

I've had two other instances threaten us with being blocked because of a small handful of users that on other platforms have used offence and inappropriate comments. If they do it here, like with anyone, they will be out. If you threaten me or my staff. There is a 100% chance I'm not going to be cooperative with you or your instance staff going forward. Report the content and if you feel they are a serious thread to the community email us to escalate.
