@thor also something that always amuses me about goody two-shoes types. There's some quote from something about being sticklers for the little rules so you can get away with breaking the big ones? That's exactly what I see with those types.

@coldacid above people who are trying to lecture people on whom to block are the people who collect fediblock lists.i *really* hate those people.i've been on those lists, for the dumbest of reasons.example: i posted a meme featuring Thomas the Tank Engine, with him being ignorant about the atrocities of Auschwitz, and wondering why people never came back from there, happily bringing passengers...it was blocked for being antisemitic.and got added to one of those lists that got circulated.no one with even two brain cells should confuse me with a person that denies that the Holocaust took place. no one with even one brain cell should be able to confuse me for someone who thinks jews should be executed in gas chambers with Zyklon-B.they blocked me for what they perceived as "what the fuck".i perceive them as a bit "what the fuck" for blocking me for that.

@thor I've seen your entire instance mentioned for blocking because you'll communicate with people on instances like NAS and SPC. Mere civility towards whoever they don't like is enough to get blocked by those assholes.So yeah fuck 'em.

@thor @coldacid I think no-platforming based on association is interesting. Oh Because you talk with guys I do not like, I also don’t like you. This «You are either with us or against us» bs is divisive, is perhaps very fitting in twitter/fb feuds, but I don’t think it has a space in my part of the fediverse. My part, because my vibe is one that I will not force on others. If instances block my instance because I responded to some guy, well, not my problem.
