they caught the terrorist in #istanbul in her own house...terrible shelter....the kremlin's methods of provocation remain unchanged. on the day of #bataclan they repeated a provocation in Istanbul. Erdoğan is being helped to become completely pro #putin ( #putler ) , completely anti-West, as we saw in the announcement of his ministry. We were surprised... :emo:#istanbul

@Jorge_Irraizoz Here is what someone much more knowledgeable than me says on this, although it indeed does quite look like apartment blocks bombing by GRU:"A bomb exploded on Istiklal Cadesi in Istanbul. At least six people were killed. Istiklal is one of the most cosmopolitan places in Istanbul. 2 days ago, prosecutors indicted Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, who faces 4 years in prison and a ban on political activity. The pretext is allegedly insulting Erdogan, for whom Imamoglu is a salt of the earth. The head of Istanbul's main opposition party, i.e., the CHP, has already been sent to prison, and there have been accusations of allegedly employing PKK-linked people at City Hall. Maybe there is no connection, or maybe ... It is worth remembering the attack in Suruc in July 2015 and the Ankara train station attack in October 2015. @Jorge_Irraizoz First thought I get here, is PKK will get blamed. Although it's very likely the attack was either staged or carri d out by random unrelated actor.PKK declared terrorists by Erdogan, reminds of Hitler calling Jews being terrorists. Ie Erdogan and his allies and minions deserve the terrorist designation much, much more than PKK.Last para about attack in Suruc and Ankara, I still have to digest.

@Jorge_Irraizoz They go even further. Accusing informal paramilitaries from pkk wasn't enough. They try to paint official kurdish ypg army and unofficial pkk with the same brush.

@Jorge_Irraizoz There is an update from Mr. Repetowicz:"Erdogan and his team are going all the way. It's not enough for them to link the coup to the PKK (whose perpetration is, to put it mildly, unlikely), to use the PKK/YPG/PYD cluster of terms as part of their traditional propaganda attempting to impose on allies the perception of the YPG as an organization identical to the PKK with all its consequences (which is rightly rejected), but they even decided to point to the YPG directly as the perpetrator (which is absurd) and hit the U.S. (as a supporter of the YPG) and, in the process, Greece (which supposedly gave refuge to the bombers). I knew from the beginning that this coup was strange but I didn't think they would go that far. Apparently, after Menendez becomes head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Turkey decided to go all the way, for a total short-circuit, calculating that either the U.S. will break and, under pressure, step down, pretending to believe the Turkish version and treating it as an excuse to change its policy toward the SDF (doubtful), or they will ride on anti-Americanism and scare the PKK, Greece, terror, etc. in the election campaign (which may work but at the same time will have a cost)."
