       @bri_seven This time it feels more like it keeps popping up and (white) people keep trying to ignore it. Makes me feel uncomfortable when I read another of those true-as-far-as-they-go pieces about how Mastodon was shaped by marginalised people

       @ghost_bird @bri_seven usually when it pops up it's white/black racism and mostly US-specific problems and as a non-western person who is neither black or white and lives in an area that has its own blend of unique racism issues I appreciate having a CW tag so I can choose to opt in to reading on American problems.
