Her parents put her on all sorts of meds, all because she was a moody teen girl, and by the time we started dating (childhood friends of sorts, met at a church social thing they had in town) they had put her on a ton of bipolar meds to âfixâ all these side effects. It was rough for a while until I finally convinced her to go off them with me being the on-call support. It was rough, tiring work for a couple weeks/months, but by the end she was back to normal and better than ever. Sheâs a happy, healthy mom today, has a fistful of blonde kids with her husband, an older guy from our senior class she used to like. This paper doesn't describe what you're stating here. Additionally, by this metric, the most eugenic approach is to increase genetic diversity, ie miscegenation. Amish recessive disorders are caused by the founder effect, small colonies splitting off and reducing genetic diversity. Greater genetic diversity is achieved by historically separate genepools intermingling.
