Doing my #introduction again but with hashtags (learning!) Hello. I live in South East #Wales, paying the bills by keeping some tv channels on air. My interests are nerdy and occasionally nostalgic. I travel by #publictransport and #ebike as much as I can and get tetchy when it isn’t possible. I’m #Quaker -curious and believe there’s ‘that of God’ in everyone. Oh, and I #volunteer at https://careradio.org

@Matt all those years following you on Twitter and I didn't know you're a Quaker.

@DanHayes More Quaker-curious than practising, but that’s where my religious journey seems to have settled for now.

@Matt That's really interesting, I'd like to hear more about what's influenced that transition. As I've grown up I've moved from being a militant atheist to far more tolerant humanist, but now feel like the humanist community struggles to replicate some of the benefits of organised religion - such as group solidarity and time for reflection. From my little knowledge of Quakerism, maybe it does have the balance right.
