I had originally opened this to non-verified but large Twitter accounts, but was immediately swamped with requests. I had to revert back to Verified-only to streamline in anticipation of Election night misinfo campaigns.Still digging myself out of the first wave, but would like to continue this discussion soon

@jperlow You can/should just verify yourself on a real website you own. Being on somebody else's list doesn't seem as trust worthy as you verifying yourself.

@stux do you actually think that this is a neat idea? Putting the trust into a single instance that controls some list on a seemingly random website? Nothing against you @DataDrivenMD personally, but IMHO this is a wrong approach and makes this verification not at all better than the "payed 8$"-checkmark
