       If Twitter is destroyed, an easily searched, publicly available archive of bad takes, jokes, and history will be lost. I was hoping it would stick around, against the odds.

       @saskboy travis brown’s github as well as numerous tech wizards have such an archive including deleted tweets whose owners thought were actually deleted lol.i, for one, have thoroughly enjoyed the funny parts of this downfall.

       @saskboy On Twitter I downloaded my 'entire archive' of 14K tweets (I delete 1000 tweets every few weeks b/c it gets too messy). Har. I didn't know how to use the archive to extract specific tweets but I 'saved' Twitter videos I liked as .mp4s and downloaded them & put them in folders. Thanks to RastaNS I've been screenshotting/saving Tweets & memes I liked for years. I can't imagine at this pt how hard it wld be to save stuff.
