       Good morning fediverse. I'm installing FreeBSD on a early 2000s era Apple flat panel iMac g4 today. I have no good reason for this.

       @hankg @ActionRetro installed fine. But the screen is still all reversed colors as soon as the kernel starts (the loader itself is fine). I will play around with it for a bit before giving up and trying OpenBSD :)

       @finkployd @hankg Have you heard about Adelie Linux? They have a modern kernel compiled for PPC with KDE/LXQT/MATE. That's what I'm running on my iMac G4 :) https://www.adelielinux.org/download/

       I suspect I have a video issue. Or FreeBSD has a color scheme that is at best, “ill advised”.

       I have not. Did you do video on it? I am admittedly way behind on my YT backlog but BeOS on TAM is bumped up in the priority list.
