       Okay, I've now been on here a week so here's a better #Introduction:hi!  I'm coregaze.  I have a name, but I only let certain people know what it is.  I'm #nonbinary and I use they/them pronouns.  I love my wife @abbynormative and our cat, whose name is Thursday.what do I do?  I am a quite senior #systems #engineer for a #wifi company in #SanFrancisco.  I was a very early hire there and I invented a lot of the technology we use.  I do a lot of #mentoring in my day job.(1)

       When I'm not working, I like #photography, riding #electricbikes and #electricmotorcycles  and #making things;  I am really pretty good at #soldering and (believe it or not) I'm a licensed HVAC technician (hey, I needed to buy some refrigerant for an experiment.)  I am pretty good at #3dprinting and I like to experiment with #photonics;  I have a couple of patents in that field.I read a lot, mostly #sciencefiction , often trash, but hey, it makes me happy.(2)
