@EU_Commission We have something like this out of the banking system, called Crypto.. Much cheaper then fiat transfers. As an expat in central Europe and coming from a western European country I need to sent or get sometimes money and belief me 1. its not in seconds.2. the fees are not cheap.But hey! great meme!!

@EU_Commission We already have Monero #xmr for that and it is not restricted to the EU or EEA, but anywhere in the world ;-) Also, #xmr is battle tested and has resisted attacks from establishment institutions like yourself. It is less likely to suffer from bugs than centralized closed software built from ivory towers wasting tax payers money:

@EU_Commission I'm using Revolut and I have instant transfers there for quite a while. Transfer to my Slovenian bank, blink, couple of seconds and it's there. That's sweet. Doesn't go the other way around, though :(

@EU_Commission Yes, and?#Revolut already has instant transfers and it works. My Austrian bank has a switch that one has to explicitly use to get instant transfer, which is a sham. And the one my wife uses apparently hasn't even implemented it. There is no excuse for this.Give the banks six months to implement the instant money transfers system. Make it expensive for those that don't. And publish a white and black list so that we know which banks to use.
