@fable_cash It’s just an odd choice to share that information. Unless it a completely lie, and they’re trying to misdirect people who’re on the same wifi subnet or such.

@tek It’ll be for easy matching physical/software pairs — probably has an http admin interface on that IP for changing the settings for that physical handset. And I’d be surprised if it’s the WiFi IP — it’s probably a virtual network IP.
