But, in 1980 welfare was bankrupt and congress passed a law to combine the two. At the same time mass immigration from Mexico became a real problem as Reagan passed Amnesty and allowed millions of immigrants with no skills to get welfare and in sense steal Americans retirement.In modern times, the banking system and who they give loans to becomes a huge factor as they've set up a situation of immigrants getting loans they can't repay. The problems they create directly makes them more money as the federal government bails them out and this debt is absorbed by Americans, and the money is owned to the Federal Reserve(richest 1%)
