Huh. ATX power supply, when installed, keeps restarting after few seconds. CPU fan barely starts spinning when it resets. When I jump start it without any connection to the board, it stays on.PSU or mainboard fault? 🤔

@cb1@chaos.social sounds like a POST failure leading to a reset, so mainboard/cpu/ramsee what happens with no RAM plugged in (if it gets further and shows an error, you'll know it's the RAM or CPU/mainboard pins responsible for RAM)

@tost I just tested board/CPU/RAM with a different PSU and it POSTs without error. I need a second board to test with the probably faulty PSU ;)

@cb1@chaos.social hmmmmmmmmmmmmmthat's really odd thenI guess the way the PSU could be faulty is it's giving power so dirty it's leading the CPU to fail to POST?I could see that hapeningis it a gigabyte psu?
