       Meh, I wanted to check out #OpenVMS , but apparently they do not offer any type of license to hobbyists or similar.Sucks,

       @selea Yeah I was waiting for a month and never received a reply. In the end I found an iso, installed it on a Pi and used a script to generate activation codes for the modules

       @jonn_blanchard It works on ARM? I did not know.I thought I needed some archane arch like ia64 or alpha - and I just saw that it was ported to x86 - but arm?

       @selea Ah, I started my career on Vax/VMS - it's a wonderful system.  I always intended to pick up a VT420 and connect it to a Raspberry Pi running OpenVMS

       @jonn_blanchard I think it is sad that they hide behind a commercial license, I do think it is beneficial for themselves if more people got used to it or atleast know a littlebit

       @jonn_blanchard @selea seriously. When I realized that Windows has VMS heritage but VMS still has a lot of different stuff about it, I wanted to try it. Guess I never will now!(Schedule is busy atm, now would not have been a great time to go for it- but it was on the list.)
