       Sometimes doing Windows updates really is a mistake.Like, not everything Microsoft does is bad, and I like the general direction of Windows 11but what the fuck happened to the search :blobcatsweats:

       when you focus the search it doesn't even turn into a full input, it just opens the modalin blue? albeit my system accent color is a pinkish red :akko_weary:

       @pixel on Windows 10 I disable the search button because I exclusively press the windows key to access it. I don't plan on upgrading to Windows 11 mainly because I think it's an ugly Windows 10 skin, the rounded corners personally bother me

       @pixel This doesn’t have the most modern look but it destroys windows search in performance.  It’s just about instantaneous lookup every keystroke and it’s one of the first things I started installing or recommending install on windows systems.
