       Sorry about the slow down here. I just maxed out the server with masto.host and Hugo says we have capacity for about 6,000 users. When we get to that point I don't know what I'm going to do. We might need a bigger boat.

       @leo let the #FediVerse and #MastoAdmins know. Many of us have worked with applications at scale, and are actively finding ways to allow instances to grow as needed. That being said, another option is to encourage others to jump on smaller instances and get federated with those servers too. It doesn't have to be one boat, in fact it shouldn't be.

       @leo is this a virtual or dedicated machine twit.social is hosted on? Maybe rent a regular machine e.g. at Hetzner.com or alike. Otherwise you might want to make this a smooth and exclusive experience by capping memberships or allowing club twit only to register (for upcoming registrations of course).
