What is it on Mastodon with all those Manga pictures of nude girls?! 😕 I actually like to browse the federation timeline now and then, but all this "child" porn is really putting me off.And as far as I've seen most of them don't use any tags or any CW and don't come from always the same servers, so I'm not aware of any way to easily block them.Any ideas?

@mediafinger I've found that blocking a fairly small number of instances gets rid of almost all of them. But if you report them to @james then he can block them for everyone if they breach ruby.social's guidelines.

@johnpettigrew @james thanks. I have no insight if that is common behavior on their instances or just those single accounts that post stuff like this. But out of curiosity: how can I block a whole instance?

@mediafinger @james If you view someone's profile, then click the "three dots" button, you'll get a menu with various options. "Block instance" or something like that is there.

@johnpettigrew @mediafinger that’s how it works in the web interface - it may be different in other clients

@james @johnpettigrew Thank you, I assume you've already blocked or de-listed some accounts? As I can't find those postings in the "Federated" timeline anymore.
