       @pixel Reminds me of long ago when I worked at RadioShack (and it still existed). A new CEO came in, and in the interest of "cutting overhead", he axed the entire product support team. Of course, all our products still had the support phone number, so they simply redirected that to the one administrative assistant at the 30 store district office who had no product knowledge at all. I'd wager that Elon's obliviousness it's pretty typical of people with way too much money.

       @joshisanonymous Hmm, I suspect it comes from Elon gaining popularity with cool projects but people attribute it to him, so he thinks he also knows what he talks about (he doesn't), which basically is an endless cycle by now.

       @joshisanonymous especially his recent tweet about Twitter having bad performance at the moment ("...is slow because of 1000 poorly batched RPCs") is making me angry, because he has no idea what he talks about, and his followers just blindly trust him.
