@stux what about mounting a 20TB Hetzner or similar storage solution to the container running Mastodon?We could all crowdfund that then :)I'm not yet in a position to donate monthly but I run servers & web apps services too so I'm acutely aware of the real impact it has on someone else pocket!Thanks for hosting my avatar 🙏🏽

@rmdes @stux I wouldn't try doing it with one of their storage boxes.You'd probably need to use a dedicated storage server to get the consistent performance.

@stux I understand that earning money isn’t the goal but you need to be sustainable too. Hosting isn’t free so there must be a way to offset the operation costs
