@SDF oooooo...I think he got really really cold feet from his first foray here it'll take a whole lotta convincing 😬 That said mastodon's moderation tools ate much more refined now so you could more easily deal with what dot-cloud had to back then hosting wilw...but still...be careful what you wish for!Honestly though I still maintain now as I did then that if any celeb-ish/influencer type should self host it should be him.

@SDF Wil tried to join a few years ago and got chased off. His experience was so toxic I doubt he'll be back.And if he does he'll rightly catch hell for his recent twitter hypocrisy. He claimed to be DONE with twitter, but when he needed to sell books he went right back up there to post and advertise.That does seem pretty damn hypocritical.
