       Can someone confirm or deny that I understand #mastodon correctly? My understanding is when searching for a hashtag, I am only searching my local instance and not the fediverse as a whole.Is it possible to search (or follow) the entire fediverse for a hashtag?

       @sergio_101 That is kindof true. Your searching all the posts your instance knows use a specific hashtag.Your instance only knows about posts if someone on it follows the person who posts it, or said person boosted a post into someone's timeline.:ablobcatcoffee:
