@splitshockvirus not a HUGE issue, I just am missing my home feed updates since the last time I scrolled through which is probs a couple days… not really an issue for me, but if I have it, possibly others do as well, so it’s my duty to bring it to the attention of the server admin.

@TJCTheMan I sounds EXACTLY like what happened to dem. We never really got to the bottom of the issue. The closest thing I can find on github to it is this issue. https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/issues/5398Which there isn't really a clear indication on how to fix it. But I'm going to run the feeds restore.

@TJCTheMan I could just edit it again but the patch I don't think even really fixed the core issue, it just increased the number of items for your feed that were stored in redis (RAM).The core issue is that redis doesn't pull from database any of the posts that you are supposed to see, and gargron gave some potential reasons as to why that might be, but I'm not sure if the commit he made even fixed it.I would say if you have the bandwidth to spare and have some time. Leave your home feed open in a seperate window and just let your feed build normally. After loading a few hundred posts that might fix the queue issue with database.That's just my best guess idk if it actually will. We could always just make you a new account but that's not a good solution.

@TJCTheMan Yeah that part is to be expected as long as you continue building the length of the home feed that should be normal. But there isn't anything I can do to fetch posts older than that post, as I have rebuilt your feed. So as far as mastodon is concerned that is the start of the feed.
